CELPIP for Nurses: Check Acceptance Before You Book
Use this checklist to see whether CELPIP fits your nursing registration or immigration goal.
CELPIP-General assesses Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking; CELPIP-General LS assesses only two skills. The organisation receiving your result decides which test, if any, it accepts.
Start here
Separate your goals: nursing registration, immigration and employment may have different English requirements. Visit each receiving organisation’s current policy and note the exact test name, score, validity and accepted delivery mode.
What to do next
Once acceptance is confirmed, practise with the official sample format. Build a weekly routine of timed tasks, feedback and a record of repeat mistakes, especially in Writing and Speaking.
Prepare with a plan
Never assume that a language test accepted for one pathway is automatically accepted for another. If uncertain, ask the receiving regulator in writing before paying for a test.
